I looked at the code and can't see a reason why this would happen. I haven't been able to replicate this problem either. Could either of you please provide your hardware setup and configuration so I can try to replicate?

Could either of you please provide your hardware setup and configuration so I can try to replicate? Same problem as the other two. Running IE on Windows XP. Works just fine on the other two servers. On this server, if I type an inccorect password, it comes back with 'incorrect password', but if I type the correct password, I get "Problems connecting to database, please try again later." Tried using all lowercase & all uppercase with my name. same result. I *really* want to play again! |

The ladder is now hosted on a different server that seems much faster. Unfortunately, host1 and host2 are still on the old server and are still quite slow.
Otherwise, I'm glad it now works for you. This was a tricky bug to find so hopefully it is closed now.. Keep your fingers crossed that the others are as successful as you were! |
